Jennifer said she was honoured to have been invited to meet the Mayor and Mayoress of Bolton and felt presenting copies of her books for inclusion in the library was a way of saying thanks. “I am grateful for the chance to make my books available to a larger audience,” she said of the occasion.

“It was fascinating to have a tour of the town hall and to learn of Bolton’s history,” said Jennifer. She was also pleased to finally understand what the significance of the elephant on Bolton’s crest was, saying it had been a subject of curiosity for many years.
